The Q20 underfloor heating controller, together with the Q20 RF receiver, can be easily integrated into existing manifold-based heating systems, whether they are already in operation or under installation.
No wiring is required, as the connection is established by pairing the two devices and communicating wirelessly.
The Q20 controller is equipped with a fuse protection, and it can also supply power to the central heating unit, in addition to sending the control signal to both the unit and the pump — offering protection in case of power surges.

After the central unit is powered on and connected to the system, follow these steps:
– On the unit, press the left and right arrows to select the desired channel (from 1 to 8). The selected zone will flash slowly. Then press the SET button — the LED will start flashing rapidly.
– Continue on the thermostat. Turn it off, then press and hold the M button until the pairing code appears on the screen. Then press the up button.
– Wait until the LED on the control unit turns off. Pairing is now successfully completed!
If you want to pair the same thermostat with multiple zones, move to the next zone and press SET again.

The Q30 thermostat must be reset if re-pairing is required (Advanced Settings, menu 15).
Then, you can check if the thermostat and the Quicksmart Q20 Central Unit are working properly by setting the thermostat temperature higher than the current room temperature.
The system should start heating; when heating is active, the corresponding circuit LED on the unit will light up — this means the actuator is working and has received the command.
To disconnect the thermostat from a set channel on the Qsmart Unit, press the left or right arrows until the LED for the desired zone lights up. Press the RESET button for 2 seconds to disconnect.
If the Qsmart Central Unit needs a factory reset, press and hold both the left and right arrow buttons for 10 seconds, until all LEDs light up.
If the unit becomes unresponsive, turn off the power supply for a few minutes.
Press and hold the Pairing button on the receiver until LED 2 starts flashing rapidly.
On the Q20 Central Unit, press the left or right arrow buttons until you reach the corresponding boiler LED, which will flash slowly.
Press the SET button; the green LED will now flash rapidly.
When the LED on the Receiver stops flashing, pairing is successful!
On the controller, press SET again briefly within 5 seconds to exit pairing mode.
Repeat the procedure if you want to pair multiple Q20 units with the same receiver.
